Mrs. Portincasa was born and raised in Ann Arbor. She graduated from the Eastern Michigan University, with a Bachelor of Art Education.  Mrs. Portincasa received her first professional teaching job at West Village Academy in Dearborn, Michigan in 2006, where she taught K through 8th grade art for the next 2 years. She then taught at Belleville High School, Ecorse Community High and Onsted High School before coming back home to Ann Arbor Public Schools. She received a Master's Degree in Sculpture in 2015 from Eastern University in Michigan.  She loves to spend her extra time with her husband and two girls. Mrs. Portincasa came to Pathways to provide a positive impact on each young person in this community.
